nerd processor redux
I wrote the first nerd processor on March 5, 2024. Since then, I've published weekly data stories, reflections on my wins and misses as a CEO, and insights about AI, remote work, team communication, management, and lots more. In the last 14 weeks alone, I've published an original data story every single week, complete with custom analysis and graphics, no matter what else has been going on.
I've also launched two e-mail courses sharing my playbooks for telling viral data stories and building connected and high-performing teams and run numerous workshops for companies based on this material. I've talked to hundreds of startup founders, built my leadership coaching and startup advisory practice, and become Operator Collective's first Founder in Residence. I even started a competitive basketball program for 11yo girls!
It has been a busy year to say the least. To my surprise, I am working even more than I worked as Textio's CEO. But I'm also having a lot of fun, and I'd like to keep doing all of the above in 2025.
If you enjoyed nerd processor this year, here are some ways you can help me keep it going! 🔥🔥🔥
1/ Subscribe to one of my courses 📚
Take Viral Stories 101
I break down my formula for conceiving of a story, identifying the data set, and putting the story together so it sticks. These stories have transformed my career and my company, and you can do it too.
VDS 101 includes six weekly e-mail installments, including case studies where we'll go behind the scenes of my most viral data stories, exercises to solidify your skills, and my complete template for putting together a story roadmap with your team. It includes a free consultation with me on your own data story, and it's half-price until the end of the year.
Do a Viral Data Stories 201 workshop
I run customized workshops for teams looking to build viral data storytelling capabilities to connect with their customers. Includes exercises that are tailored to your business. You'll leave with a data story roadmap and the ability to execute and see results.
Subscribe to DIY Team Success Hacks
I wrote down my three favorite exercises for building high-performing and connected teams. These simple team exercises are for managers of every experience level. Ready for your next team meeting, and no big budget required. I focused on making this broadly affordable, so anyone who wants to use it can.
2/ Become a client 📈
Become a coaching or advisory client
I work directly with founders and other executives looking to become stronger leaders. I also work with startups, especially in B2B, who are bringing new products to market, fundraising, scaling teams and revenue, hiring execs, and lots more. I work hard for my clients, am highly available, and bring all of my lived experience as a founder and executive to support you.
I also run ad hoc workshops on exec hiring, building GTM, and building and selling AI products. LMK if you'd like to learn more.
3/ Work with me at Operator Collective ☀️
Apply to Operator Collective's Technical Product Showcase
I'm organizing an incredible event for startups who make products for technical teams: eight startups will be selected to privately share their products with an expert group of C-Suite technical leaders who purchase software on behalf of their organizations.
I want to help you get customers! Applying is easy and you don't need to be part of Operator Collective to apply. Applications are due January 10.

Here's to a great year! 🎉
2025 will bring more data stories, more courses, more workshops, and more conversations with startups. I may even write a book.
First up: I'll be starting the new year with an absolute banger of a data story on January 7. Who is most likely to get ghosted in workplace conversations? We're gonna find out.
Thanks for reading this year and happy holidays!
